I was really happy when she sent me a thank you message immediately after the party **sure was on her way to her in-law’s home for prayers, was so happy it went well and job well done**hugs

It was hard to get the kind of weavon to suit her budget but at last we got one to work with, did I hear you ask, what weavon? amebo….will tell you when its your turn**wink wink.

A good Stylist should be able to work with any kind of good weavon not only peruvian or brazilian as some will tell you, there are some bridalstyles peruvian or brazilian will not give the desired styles because of the softness of the hair…hmmmm thats my opinion….

The Make up artist was awesome and a sister to work with, she did her best….xoxo

Waiting for the next Bride!

Derived from the seed of the jojoba plant, The same nourishing properties that make jojoba oil beneficial to the skin also make it equally beneficial for the hair and scalp. Unlike other oils, Jojoba oil does not actually penetrate the hair cell membranes. Instead it seals the hair shaft allowing it to retain its natural oils and nutrients keeping the hair strong this liquid wax is similar  to sebum the moisturizer/conditioner naturally produced by our bodies.  Jojoba oil is extremely effective at disintegrating this buildup and freeing the hair follicle to grow and receive nutrients.

Jojoba is also considered to be one of the best treatments for many scalp conditions like dandruff and keeps your hair shiny, soft, thick and strong. Adding a few drops to your regular shampoo  will generate amazing improvements to the look and feel of your hair and the pore cleansing effects help to promote growth and regeneration.

Almond Oil for Hair & Hair Growth

almond oil

Cold-pressed from the seeds of almonds, almond oil stands side by side with olive oil for its ability to protect and moisturize hair. When massaged into the hair, almond oil removes the build up of dead skin cells which alleviates scalp inflammation and allows the hair to grow freely. Although almond oil is not known to re-grow hair, it does protect and stimulate the growth of existing hair follicles making them less prone to breakage. Almond oil is also very effective in treating skin conditions like seborheic dermatitis. People with allergies to nuts should use caution when using almond oil and discontinue use if any allergic skin reactions occur.

Rosemary Oil for Hair and Hair Growth

Rosemary oil is gotten from the rosemary herb, a member of the mint family, for its many internal and external health benefits. The oil is known to develop blood vessels and stimulate cell division. This encourages hair follicles to produce new hair. Rosemary oil is also believed to inhibit both hair loss and graying in addition to removing dandruff and soothing dry, flaky scalps. The disinfectant properties of the oil also aid in preventing bacteria and other harmful organisms from getting into the hair and scalp.

DETANGLING TOOLS…

Detangling has ben a serious problems in styling hair, it’s a task that every Lady run from but its a must do to properly maintain your hair. It’s a constant pain between getting the tangles out and removing shed hair but  not over manipulating it.

With all the pains and stress associated with this process, I thought it would be helpful to give a breakdown of the tools which can help one get through the stress while still having much hair on the head and out of combs.

DERMAN BRUSH

This is a detangling brush tool that has been in use for sometimes now. The brush has the ability to entangle and separate curls for a more refined look. Its uniqueness is the way it can detangle due to the flexible teeth and the truth is that it can prevent capture the shed hair to prevent your hair from matting or twisting.Like other tools, Denman brush can cause hair breakage if proper caution is not taken when used too often, it’s always good to use it as the final step to smoothen the hair out before styling.

WIDE TOOTHED COMB

line art drawing of hair comb.

The comb can be the most preferred tool by many for detangling because it detangle efficiently and remove shed hair. This exceptional wide comb has been created  to the highest standards of accuracy and quality in order to gently detangle hair.It is convenient, hygienic and durable. The  accurate finish and smooth edges make it the perfect comb for tangle-free.Combing hair from the tip to root reduces hair breakage while combing from root to tip tends to rip healthy hair out.

FINGER

Using your fingers might  not be appropriate but the use of an actual part of your body makes it easier to know a tangle and also do a great job in getting  it out gently.Using your fingers can give a correct amount of force on the hair can be the best option for persons with fine hair that splits and breaks easily.

DETANGLING METHODS

DRY DETANGLING
Dry detangling is done by applying  oil, conditioner, or a mixture of the two to the hair, then detangling  it before cleansing. it easier to see and remove the tangles. There is less chance for breakage since the hair is strongest when dry while the oils and or conditioner not only act as a lubricant for easier  detangling, but they also help to moisturize the hair to reduce the  dryness.

WET DETANGLING

ONIONS!!!

Onions on a neutral, mostly white background (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Wow, read this and decide to share- very interesting….
ONIONS! I had never heard this!!! PLEASE READ TO THE END: IMPORTANT …
In 1919 when the flu killed 40 million people there was this Doctor that visited the many farmers to see if he could help them combat the flu… Many of the farmers and their families had contracted it and many died.
The doctor came upon this one farmer and to his surprise, everyone was very healthy. When the doctor asked what the farmer was doing that was different the wife replied that she had placed an unpeeled onion in a dish in the rooms of the home, (probably only two rooms back then). The doctor couldn’t believe it and asked if he could have one of the onions and place it under the microscope. She gave him one and when he did this, he did find the flu virus in the onion. It obviously absorbed the bacteria, therefore, keeping the family healthy.
Now, I heard this story from my hairdresser. She said that several years ago, many of her employees were coming down with the flu, and so were many of her customers. The next year she placed several bowls with onions around in her shop. To her surprise, none of her staff got sick. It must work. Try it and see what happens. We did it last year and we never got the flu.
Now there is a P. S. to this for I sent it to a friend in Oregon who regularly contributes material to me on health issues. She replied with this most interesting experience about onions:
Thanks for the reminder. I don’t know about the farmer’s story…but, I do know that I contacted pneumonia, and, needless to say, I was very ill… I came across an article that said to cut both ends off an onion put it into an empty jar, and place the jar next to the sick patient at night. It said the onion would be black in the morning from the germs…sure enough it happened just like that…the onion was a mess and I began to feel better.
Another thing I read in the article was that onions and garlic placed around the room saved many from the black plague years ago. They have powerful antibacterial, antiseptic properties.
This is the other note.  Lots of times when we have stomach problems we don’t know what to blame.  Maybe it’s the onions that are to blame. Onions absorb bacteria is the reason they are so good at preventing us from getting colds and flu and is the very reason we shouldn’t eat an onion that has been sitting for a time after it has been cut open.
LEFT OVER ONIONS ARE POISONOUS….
I had the wonderful privilege of touring Mullins Food Products, Makers of mayonnaise. Questions about food poisoning came up, and I wanted to share what I learned from a chemist.
Ed, who was our tour guide, is a food chemistry whiz.During the tour, someone asked if we really needed to worry about mayonnaise. People are always worried that mayonnaise will spoil. Ed’s answer will surprise you. Ed said that all commercially-made mayo is completely safe.
“It doesn’t even have to be refrigerated. No harm in refrigerating it, but it’s not really necessary.” He explained that the pH in mayonnaise is set at a point that bacteria could not survive in that environment. He then talked about the summer picnic, with the bowl of potato salad sitting on the table, and how everyone blames the mayonnaise when someone gets sick. Ed says that, when food poisoning is reported, the first thing the officials look for is when the ‘victim’ last ate ONIONS and where those onions came from (in the potato salad?). Ed says it’s not the mayonnaise (as long as it’s not homemade mayo) that spoils in the outdoors. It’s probably the ONIONS, and if not the onions, it’s the POTATOES.
He explained onions are a huge magnet for bacteria, especially uncooked onions. You should never plan to keep a portion of a sliced onion.. He says it’s not even safe if you put it in a zip-lock bag and put it in your refrigerator. It’s already contaminated enough just by being cut open and out for a bit, that it can be a danger to you (and doubly watch out for those onions you put in your hotdogs at the baseball park!). Ed says if you take the leftover onion and cook it like crazy you’ll probably be okay, but if you slice that leftover onion and put on your sandwich, you’re asking for trouble. Both the onions and the moist potato in a potato salad, will attract and grow bacteria faster than any commercial mayonnaise will even begin to break down. Also, dogs should never eat onions. Their stomachs cannot metabolize onions. Please remember it is dangerous to cut an onion and try to use it to cook the next day, it becomes highly poisonous for even a single night and creates toxic bacteria which may cause adverse stomach infections because of excess bile secretions and even food poisoning.

WEARING PEARL.

Español: Muestrario perlas

I love pearl so much that I can’t take my eyes off it at times, it makes you feel so feminine, makes you glow, it also show a sign of purity…..

A pearl is a hard object produced within the soft tissue of a living shelled mollusk, the ideal pearl is perfectly round and smooth.

Every Lady is found wearing a piece of pearl jewellery daily on either their neck, earring or hand, this could range from low to high cost of pearl and can also find them in different colours. Long length pearls can be wrapped multiple times around your neck or even tied across your shoulders to the straps of a plain black cocktail dress to make an interesting statement or tie a knot to make a drop down depending on your sense of fashion.

Having a clean and good pearl always is best to wear after your make up and perfume. Cleaning your pearl after each wear, wipe with a soft, dampened with water or dry cloth and allow to air dry before putting them in the a soft jewellery bag. Your pearl should be stored away from other jewelleries, because they can be scratched easily, keep them in a soft bag.

Every Lady should have a piece of pearl jewellery for that fashion statement but you can contact me if you need one **wink…xoxo

Hair extension

Having human hair extension is like a  long time investment, if maintained properly, it can last as long as you keep them and still look good. Maintaining your human hair extension should be important by keeping them clean and brush out like twice daily with soft bristle brush or wide comb.

Robb little amount o serum when it’s properly dried for a shiny result.
